An Autumn Day and Ishimochi
The last day of October, Halloween. A lonely day for a single man.
The ishimochi was given to me by my mother during Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). I thawed it, removed the innards, washed it in salt water, and the prep was complete.
1. Brush with 3 parts sesame oil + 1 part soy sauce and grill.

2. Brush with sauce (gochujang + soy sauce + grated garlic + chopped green onion + sugar + sesame + mirin + sesame oil) and grill again.

3. Ishimochi Teriyaki is complete.
