1. Prepare the ingredients.
Remove the skin from the chicken and season with salt, garlic, and pepper.
Mince the vegetables: onion, dried chili pepper, green chili pepper, green onion, garlic, and ginger.
For the sauce, mix 1 part soy sauce, 1 part oyster sauce, 1 part sugar, 1 part cooking sake, 1 part vinegar, sesame oil, and pepper.
For the fried chicken batter, mix potato starch, egg, curry powder, and a little water until it forms a thick paste.
2. Coat the chicken with the fried chicken batter and deep-fry. (You know to deep-fry twice, right? ^^)
3. Add chili oil to the vegetables and stir-fry. To make chili oil, heat 1 part oil and 1 part chili powder until fragrant, then strain to get only the beautiful red oil.
4. Add the prepared sauce and boil until it thickens.
5. Add the fried chicken and toss vigorously...
6. Kkanpunggi is complete.
7. Take a closer look. The spicy and sour taste is truly fantastic.
