Finely chopped and seasoned beef, grilled, then simmered in soy sauce. This dish is also recommended as a side dish for rice.
I tried making Jan San Jeok (teriyaki-style meat patties) using a recipe I was given.

1. Combine ground beef (1 handful), ground pork (1 handful), tofu (1/4 block), chopped green onions (1), grated garlic (1), minced onion (4), salt (0.3), pepper, sesame seeds, and sesame oil. Knead until sticky.

2. Form into hamburger-like patties and pan-fry in a generous amount of vegetable oil until browned on both sides.

3. Heat dark soy sauce (3), water (3), sugar (1), honey (1), and ginger powder (0.3). Add the grilled meat and coat it in the sauce. Done!

4. Jan San Jeok is complete.

5. The thick sauce is incredibly delicious! If you have pine nuts, you can grind them finely and use them as a garnish. Less fatty meat is better.
