Korean-Style Potato Bacon Rolls Recipe

This is a Korean-style twist on classic potato bacon rolls. The sweet and spicy gochujang-based sauce is appetizing and pairs well with both rice and alcohol. Recommended for those who enjoy a bit of spice.
Ingredients
- Potatoes: 2
- Bacon: 6 slices
- Gochujang: 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
- Mirin: 1 tbsp
- Sugar: 1 tsp
- Sesame oil: 1 tsp
- Garlic: 1 clove (grated)
- White sesame seeds: small amount
- Vegetable oil: appropriate amount
Instructions
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1cm thick stick shapes.
2. Place the cut potatoes in a heat-resistant container and microwave for 3-4 minutes until lightly cooked.
3. Mix gochujang, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sesame oil, and garlic to make the sauce.
4. Toss the potatoes with the sauce.

5. Wrap the potatoes with bacon slices.

6. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the bacon rolls. Cook thoroughly until nicely browned.

7. Once browned all over, sprinkle with white sesame seeds and serve.
